Yellow Wings, are proud to announce a momentous Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Surf Air Mobility, This strategic collaboration marks a significant milestone in advancing air travel sustainability within Africa, with Kenya emerging as a leader in the regional air mobility market.

Under the terms of this MOU, Surf Air Mobility will supply us (YW) with cutting-edge Electric Powertrains, supporting our ambitious goal to transition to an all-electric fleet by 2027. This aligns seamlessly with our commitment to safety, efficiency, and eco-conscious practices, as well as our vision for leading the charge in sustainable aviation within the region.

By adopting Surf Air Mobility's state-of-the-art Electric Powertrains, weaim to not only enhance operational efficiency but also contribute significantly to reducing the carbon footprint of air travel.

Surf Air Mobility, headquartered in Los Angeles, is dedicated to reinventing flying through the power of electrification. The company is actively developing Supplemental Type Certifications (STCs) for hybrid and fully-electric variants of the Cessna Grand Caravan, with a goal of achieving up to 50% reduction in direct operating costs and up to 100% reductions in carbon emissions for the fully-electric powertrain.
